It’s that time of year, and I meant to do this earlier in the season, but here we are! Today we are knitting pickles. We will talk about the origins of the Christmas Pickle and how this project is celebrated here in the workshop.

You will need: Green yarn and double pointed needles in a size appropriate for your yarn. The following items are optional: beads (you will need a flexible beading needle if you decide to add beads) eyes and other face parts.

You will need to know: knitting in the round, short rows, placing beads.

This project is very silly and delightful and I can’t wait to knit along with you! The pattern I use is here, but of course you can pick the one you like the best. I just want to craft with you!
