KAL Hat - Livestream Jan 2 2025

Today we knit together on a hat! We will do it again next week as well. .

The hat I chose was the My Baker’s Hat by Emily Russell on Ravelry. This is a free pattern, but you have the opportunity to support Em on Ko-Fi. She’s a small pattern maker and it would be wonderful if we could send her a little love for the work that she did!

Here’s my progress for our hour of crafting time. I chose a smaller weight yarn for the main project, but the same needles becaause they are my favorite. The knit is looser than my test knit, and I am okay with that. The yarn is beautiful, and bonus, not only is it from my stash, but it’s from my handspun stash so I can actually say that I knit something out of the yarn I made. Maye I’ll wear the hat to my next spinning class!
