Spooky Crafting Week 2 - Fiber arts Pumpkins!

I’m loving having a theme, and after ghosts last week. I’m really loving these pumpkins. They work up much faster than the ghosts of yesterweek. Is that a thing? Yesterweek? Spell check doesn’t like it. I think you know what I am saying.

Here is the finished product!

We used this pattern, and opted for an i-cord stem instead of looking for a stick. Funny how sticks are hard to find when you need one. I suppose there may be some outside, but it’s hot out there, and sticks on the ground are at risk of dog poop since my neighbors don’t really clean up after their dogs.

Two of the pumpkins were made by Gina, and one was made by Shawna. We both agree that sizing down a needle size or two (I did one on a 5, and one on a 3. Shawna followed the directions and knit her’s on 8’s.

This week we will be creating ghosts again, but this time they will be out of clay. I’m excited about it. Check out the events page for the tutorial link!
